Piia Lieste b.1979 , graduated Master of Arts, Graphic Design department, from the University of Lapland 2008 and Ceramics Artisan 2014, from the Forssa Vocational School.
The chosen materials guide her work and the core qualities, the true nature, of the materials are in the focus, for example durability and plasticity. Her current practice builds up from site-specific processes and ecological care.
